EnSite Announces Major Version Release of its Energy Management Software Suite

Omaha, Nebraska - EnSite Incorporated, a leading provider of software solutions and transaction management services for energy companies and service providers, announces a major version release of its EnSite Safari Suite® retail energy management software. EnSite Safari Suite® Version 4 represents both a technological step forward for EnSite and a strategic advantage for EnSite's clients.
In pursuit of its philosophy of continuous product improvement, EnSite undertook in late 2006 a plan for complete conversion of its EnSite Safari Suite® application in order to take advantage of the Microsoft® .NETTM Framework. The .NETTM Framework is a development and execution environment that allows different programming languages and libraries to work together seamlessly to create Windows®-based applications that are easier to build, manage, deploy, and integrate with other networked systems.
EnSite Safari Suite® Version 4 implements this new application framework with an enhanced user interface, application design improvements, and an array of new user options providing increased efficiency in managing the application.
In addition to upgraded system design and architecture, EnSite Safari Suite® Version 4 includes a newly designed System Administration module providing enhanced security options for administrators, including improved user management and event logging capabilities to promote compliance with both internal and regulatory auditing requirements.

With EnSite Safari Suite® Version 4 in general release, EnSite now moves to the next stage of development for its energy management product suite. This will include continued enhancement of the product interface, activating more features and capabilities of the Microsoft® .NETTM Framework within the product, and phased redesign of existing product modules into the new .NET-enabled product architecture.
